SCADpro x Procter & Gamble

Branding/Visual Identity

UX/UI

Background

SCADpro is a collaborative design studio sponsored by Savannah College of Art and Design that connects current and future art and design professionals with business leaders to find creative and inventive solutions to real-world challenges. I was honored to participate in a project with Procter & Gamble to solve their challenge of re-imagining how One Grooming (P&G’s hair grooming brands collective) might approach inclusivity and accessibility. Most shaving products in the market are heavily gendered instead of being function-based, which counters the way newer generations of consumers express themselves and how they choose their products as a result.

To introduce an identification system and refreshed visual identity to existing products in order to amplify the idea of “function over gender” of One Grooming’s current products, in order to expand its market to Gen Z’s and Gen A’s.

Objective

Telling the story of an ideal shaving experience from start to finish with One Grooming products through the perspective of Gen Z’s and Gen A’s; Designing a set of function icons and a set of sustainability icons that can be placed on both existing and future products.
